IC Bolzano 1 is one of the most ancient schools in a wonderful palace of the town. The institute includes many schools spread among the different quarters of Bolzano.
That means that they are very different to each other even in the typology of the pupils.
In total, we have got almost 600 pupils from 6 to 14 and almost 120 among teachers and other school-assistents.
Our school presents a very high number of foreign students coming from extra-european countries, so they have to learn Italian, English and German as foreign languages.
Special peculiarity presents the learning of the German language in South Tyrol because it has to be learnt at a very high level, reaching a bilingual knowledge.
German is also taught following a CLIL methodology (for example in sport, music, science and arts).
As a matter of fact, the main aim of our school is improving Arts (music, theater, dance, costumes, scenography and so on) at the primary and at the secondary level of school.
