About arts-abled

The main aim of arts-abled is to create new practices for students with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Differential Abilities Scale (DAS), integrating arts and Vocational Education Training (VET) to support families and foster integration and employability of these students, promoting their improvement in the school education.
arts-abled is an Erasmus+Project co-funded by the European Union, a Cooperation Partnership in the field of School Education (2021-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-00027905)
Objectives

To change the customary approaches of the teachers/people/children with SEN themselves/their families to disabilities & SEN.

To set up a new, transnational e-platform consisting of plans/lectures/practices of different art activities and VET practices and SEN interrelated with each other to improve academic and social success levels of our pupils with disabilities

To create a methodological framework that will provide all the participants especially pupils SENs themselves- a new pedagogical & didactic perspective for knitting/amalgamating Arts with SENs.

To Setup a “support website” to serve as a resource for families of pupils with SNE that will contain the adapted usable/applicable-at-home-formats of the practices, activities and methods of the project.
