About the project

Girl Boss Collective is an Erasmus+ Project co-funded by the European Union through the National Agency of The Netherlands, a Small Scale Cooperation Partnership in the field of School Education (2023-1-NL02-KA210-YOU-000155134).

Objectives

  • Create more awareness on (social) entrepreneurial opportunities amongst youngsters with a special focus on girls aged between 13 – 18 years old

  • Provide handles to youth workers on how to inspire girls to commit to entrepreneurial behaviour and opportunities

  • Promote entrepreneurial behaviour among youngsters

  • Contribute to gender equality in the world of starting entrepreneurs

  • Introduce non-formal learning by providing practical tools, focusing on up-to-date daily (girl) activities related to entrepreneurship

  • Our long-term objective is to empower women entrepreneurs and nurture women leaders by increasing the number of girls aged 12 to 18 interested in multiple topics

Targets

  • Young women, age 13 – 18, open to additional learning and interested in (social) entrepreneurship and its accompanying skills and competences. These young women will be reached through youth centers, schools and side activities related to youth. This target group will be inspired by interacting with likeminded young women and taking role models as examples to become an entrepreneur themselves

  • Youth workers, working in youth associations and youth centers, by providing them handles to implement activities promoting (female) entrepreneurship. The TOOLBOX (activity 1), the role model database (activity 2), and the 3-day bootcamp (activity 3) will provide them access to a TOOLBOX including activities related to skill improvement regarding entrepreneurship, a full training program and access to inspiring women who are willing to facilitate active sessions and sharing their story with our first target group; young women.

  • Female entrepreneurs who want to be role models to empower young women and stimulate them to explore their path towards an own business. These entrepreneurs will function as role models and are included in a database, so that youth workers (and indirect the young women) can reach out to them to provide sessions in their entrepreneurial program in youth centers. These female entrepreneurs have the opportunity to contribute to equal diversity within the world of entrepreneurship in the long term.
